We select natural diamonds and GIA-graded diamonds, avoiding synthetic diamonds and zirconia. TRACEY CHEN's diamonds feature high color and clarity grades.

Diamonds are notable for their GIA (Gemological Institute of America) established international grading standards: 4Cs-Color, Clarity, Cut, and Carat.
What is Diamond Color?
Color refers to a diamond's inherent hue. Most white diamonds have a slight yellow tint. Diamonds closer to "colorless" are rarer. Industry standards grade color from D (colorless) to Z (slightly yellow).

What is Diamond Clarity?
Clarity measures a diamond's purity and rarity, assessed by magnifying its internal features. Diamonds with more visible inclusions affect light refraction and sparkle. TRACEY CHEN uses diamonds with clarity grades FL, IF, VVS1, VVS2, and VS1, avoiding any with visible flaws.
What is Diamond Cut?
Cut is a crucial part of the 4Cs, referring to how a diamond's facets interact with light. It is determined by symmetry, proportions, and polish. An excellent cut maximizes light reflection and sparkle. The highest grade, Triple Excellent (3X), is awarded to diamonds with excellent ratings in cut, symmetry, and polish. TRACEY CHEN uses only 3EX diamonds to achieve the ideal cut.
What is Diamond Carat?
Carat measures a diamond's weight, not its size. One carat equals 0.2 grams or 100 points. Larger carats don't always mean larger
appearance due to cutting depth. Carat weight is significant, but the overall value also considers the other 3Cs. TRACEY CHEN marks all
diamond products with total carat weight and provides GIA certification for diamonds of 30 points and above.
